Payment and Cancellation

Payment

A 25% deposit of the total rental fee is payable immediately upon making a booking if the booking is made more than 6 weeks before the arrival date. The remaining balance of the booking is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. If booking within 6 weeks prior to the arrival date the full total is due at the time of booking. If the remaining balance is not paid 6 weeks prior to the arrival date, the booking will automatically be cancelled, and the deposit will be retained. Payment can be made via BACS, PayPal or phoning Studford reception over a card machine.

 

Cancellation Booking Date Changes

Should the booking need to be cancelled, we require written cancellation via email or post, phone calls are not accepted as a cancellation request. Cancellation 3 months prior to the arrival date is free and will result in the returning of the 25% deposit. Cancellation within 3 months of the arrival date will result in the retaining of the 25% deposit. Cancellation within 6 weeks of the arrival date will incur the full charge for the booking. Stays over Christmas and New Year are non-refundable.

Booking Date Changes

Should you wish to change the date of your booking, there are a couple options to offer. If the date change is out of the 6 week payment window, the booking date can be changed to anytime in that year and the price will be adjusted accordingly if the price band is different. Once within the 6 week payment window, the full amount for the booking is required still and then the date can be changed to anytime within that year but the price will not be adjusted if the new date is in a different price band. Date change costings and terms are at the discretion of Studford Luxury Lodges. We allow 1 date change per booking.
