Access Statement

As you enter the site, you'll find our Reception conveniently located on the right-hand side, with the lodges situated just beyond. There are six lodges in total, each featuring three bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. Two of the en-suites offer spacious double showers, while the third includes a shower over bath.

Access to each lodge is via a staircase, as the lodges are elevated on stilts—true luxury treehouses nestled among the trees. Lodge 1 is semi-disabled friendly, with a staircase designed for easier access, including shallower steps, deeper treads, and a landing halfway up.

Car Parking & Arrival

The driveway leading to the lodges is tarmac surfaced. During office hours (Monday to Friday), the security barrier will be raised. Outside of these hours, and on weekends, the barrier will be lowered for security. Prior to arrival you will be provided with the barrier code.

You will also be asked to review and sign our Hot Tub Safety Rules.

Reception Access:
Our Reception is fully accessible, with a tiled floor and a disabled-access toilet available.

 

Lodge Access & Orientation

Guests also have the option to complete a self-check-in upon arrival. Full instructions, including the gate code and lodge access details, will be provided prior to your stay. This allows you to arrive and settle in at your own convenience.
Each lodge is elevated and accessed by 9 to 11 steps, with step dimensions as follows:

  • Depth: 225mm

  • Height: 200mm

Please note:

  • Lodge 1 is semi-disabled friendly, featuring shallower steps, deeper treads, and a midway landing.

  • The entire lodge interior is set on one level.

 

Flooring

  • Entrance hall, lounge/dining/kitchen, and hallway: Oak wood flooring

  • Bedrooms: Carpeted

  • Bathrooms and utility room: Tiled floors

 

Lighting & Accessibility

  • Each lodge parking area is equipped with LED sensor security lighting.

  • Footpath lighting activates via motion sensors at the path entrance and near each lodge for safe access after dark.

  • All lodge doorways are 3 feet wide, ensuring easy disabled access.

 

Keys & Safety

You’ll be provided with a full set of keys—each key works in all locks within your lodge.
For your safety, we recommend keeping a key beside your bed at night, so you can exit directly from your bedroom through its external door in case of emergency.

Kitchen / Dining / Lounge Area

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. It features:

  • Double oven

  • Combination microwave oven

  • Ceramic hob (suitable for up to 4 pans)

  • Full-sized dishwasher

  • American-style fridge freezer with chilled water and ice dispenser

  • Dedicated wine fridge

  • Nespresso machine with 6 complimentary pods

A Welcome Hamper is provided to help you settle in.

 

Private Sauna

Each lodge features its own private sauna, offering a relaxing retreat all year round. The main power socket for the sauna is located in the small external hallway just outside the sauna itself.

A member of our team will provide a full demonstration on how to use and operate the sauna safely during your check-in.

The sauna operates on a timer system and can run for up to 4 hours per session. However, in the interest of energy conservation and environmental responsibility, we kindly ask guests to switch it off manually when finished.

 

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

  • All bedrooms are furnished with super king-size beds, which can be converted into twin single beds on request.

  • The height from the floor to the top of the mattress is 620mm (24.5 inches).

  • Each bedroom includes a bedside cabinet with a lamp.

 

Utility Room

Each lodge includes a fully equipped utility room, designed to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. Amenities include:

  • Washing machine and dryer

  • Vacuum cleaner

  • Iron and ironing board

  • Clothes airer

  • A selection of outdoor games, including badminton and boules

  • Fire extinguisher

 

Fire Safety

Your safety is important to us. Each lodge is equipped with the following:

  • A clearly displayed Fire Action Plan located in the utility room

  • A fire extinguisher in the utility room

  • A fire blanket mounted on the kitchen wall

In case of emergency, please follow the instructions outlined in the Fire Action Plan.
